Children's Development:
Studied and shared through Pinterest, ISSUU and my own artwork.
This was a study based strictly on looking at the imagery of children of different cultures, ages 4-8. Based on readings from a course in which we have studied children's development through art and art education, I was prompted to look for the culture children relay through their artwork. This page includes my research via a paper, the Pinterest board which was my initial accumulation of art to study, my own artwork inspired from my findings, and an ISSUU that summarizes the entire project.
Pinterest Board: the visual research
My own artwork inspired from the project...
Consistent themes I found in children's art included family, nature and self. This small series explores how I summarize imagery based on those three topics.
Family: Revisited
Nature: Home
Self: Portrait Through Image
